• Talk with the Social Services Department.

Talk with the nearest Independent Living Center (ILC). They will be able to give you helpful information in what you are wanting to know about.

  • I work for an Independent Living Center in my state. We offer a few different "Personal Care" Programs to assist people with daily living that are non-medical. (bathing, house cleaning, feeding, toileting, dressing, transferring, etc)

As the person above me suggested, contact your local ILC to find out what programs are available and what the eligibility criteria are.

  • It depends where you live. Sometimes you can get grants to pay for help, like cleaning or someone who drives you to your appointments and to the shops. Check with your local Social Services.

    Good luck!

  • in the US--contact your county disability services office--my state has non medical companion/aids

they will help with light house work/errands
